What is Worship? How does Worship looks like for us as a disciple of Jesus?

What is worship? The definition of worship would be the feeling or expression of reverence (deep respect) and adoration (deep love and respect) for deity(God).  It's about showing deep respect and adoring someone which is God. When we worship God, we draw the presence of God to us and create that atmosphere where God's presence gets manifest in our midst. Worship should not about manipulating God to get something from God. Worship should be about worshiping God because we were crated to worship. In this world, every human being worships something, it's about what you have in your heart, what you treasure most, what you are really proud of possessing is what you worship. Some people worship their wealth, some their beauty (body), some their cars. So it's all a heart issue. Where your heart is what you worship.  If you have God in your heart, you will worship God. Overcoming Dark Seasons

How do we overcome dark seasons in our life. We all do have dark difficult seasons at some stage of our life, we struggle, we fall down.. but the question is how do we get up again and not just stay there. This life is not easy, but we are not able in this life. We have an enemy, the devil, he wants to bring us down, hurt us, destroy us, he wants to make you feel you're worth nothing. He work is to kill, steal and destroy us. But hey don't be afraid, we have the upper hand, we  have Jesus on our side, he will protect us. The enemy can not harm us. Jesus came to earth to give us eternal life, life in abundance. So don't worry about the enemy, he's already been defeated. Jesus said that he will never leave us nor forsake us. and that He will always be with us. Our Co-Mission as Disciples of Jesus

Jesus came to this earth because He was sent by the Father to reveal the Father to us. To show us that the Father loves us and cares for us. He always thinks about us, good things about us. For God has a plan for all of us, plan to prosper us and not harm us. Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, he co-commissioned his disciples to go and preach the gospel everywhere they go. In Matthew 10:8, it says, " As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’  8 Heal   the sick,   raise   the dead,   cleanse   the lepers,   drive out   demons.   Freely   you have received;   freely   give ".  Jesus commissioned us with something that we cannot do on own. We can't heal people from sickness. we don't have that supernatural power within us, but when we invite Jesus into our life, Holy Spirit resides in us and through the power of the Holy Spirit we can heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead. Yes, we can raise the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever thought why on earth are you here for? What's your purpose for your life? Does your life matter? We often ask these questions at some stage of our life. You can try to figure out life by yourself by watching TEdTalks, Inspirational videos, read inspiring books. Life isn't about how successful you are, how much money you make, how big house you own, the kind of car you drive. None of these matters. The person who can help you find your purpose of your life is God. He knows your purpose of life because he created you. and He knows everything about you he even knew you even before you were born. Ephesians 1:4 says, Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Because of his love.
